Like building a home, the first steps of the Workforce Housing Committee have been to the lay the foundation of their future work. After assessing the current housing trends the Committee decided their primary focus would be affordable rental and ownership options through new builds and renovations for local, working families making between $39k and $59k per year.

A working breakfast will be held on November 2nd with a presentation from Trust MT, a local land trust and housing expert in our state, on how we can efficiently create permanently affordable homes. The goal of the breakfast will be to have an actionable plan to begin the initiative’s first build in the Spring of 2017! If you’re interested in attending the breakfast or learning more about the committee, please contact Kristen@rlacf.org.
