Roberts Cultural Council (RCC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit formed in 2020 with a mission to strengthen the Roberts area community and its economy by providing meaningful art and cultural events, experiences, and projects to the public at no cost. Additionally, RCC honors Roberts’ first responders on an ongoing basis.
Annually, RCC will provide the Roberts area community with the following family-friendly free events and/or workshops:
- Rockin’ Roberts Summer Festival 1st Saturday in June [40+ vendors, 10+ non-profits, and 800 expected attendees],
- Lights of Hope & Joy – Roberts Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration [300 expected attendees],
- Spring Workshop [80 attendees], and
- Fall Workshop [80 attendees].
Additional funding raised through the Fun Run for Charities will allow RCC to serve more community members through more services such as adding workshops, providing educational handouts or books at workshops, providing children with more crafts at our events, or adding more music to our events. Also, additional funding will allow RCC to better serve small businesses and our vendors by allowing RCC to broaden advertising channels to bring more visitors and shoppers to RCC events and to Carbon County.
