With only 20% of the need for childcare met in Carbon County, Meadowlark Children’s Center works to increase access to high quality early childhood care. Through grant funding and the help of RLACF, Meadowlark Children’s Center is preparing to open its doors to children ages 12 weeks old to 6 years old.
As an organization, we strive to address the challenges of childcare in our community head on and to advocate for community partnerships that support our working families’ ability to not only access childcare but to reasonably afford it.
As a program, we embrace children for the natural learners that they are. Through a combination of Reggio-Emilia & Conscious Discipline philosophies, we hope to use every tool available to meet them where they are and guide them through their unique developmental ages and stages.
