Mission: The mission of the Cub Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
What are you fundraising for this year?
Funding provides youth with uniforms, merit badges, and outdoor experiences. We use the funds for wood working projects and pinewood derby races. As the kids grow we plan for a big trip to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.
What impact will funds have on your mission and community?
Funding allows youth to participate when they would not otherwise be able to. Last year we used pack funds to buy uniform, when all youth match they fell like part of the team. Uniforms make us recognizable promote pride.
If you participated last year, what did you use the funds for?
This will be the first year that Cub Scouts of America and Boy Scouts of America participate in the Fun Run
