A GUIDE TO FIND THE HELP YOU NEED
Sometimes it can be difficult finding the help you need.
We understand that applications for aid programs/services can be cumbersome and confusing, which is where we come in. The Navigators will help you find and apply for the programs that can make your life easier. Navigators are volunteers trained to guide clients through resource services applications and programs/managed grant fund applications.
We can help you apply for Medicaid, TANF, SNAP, HMK, Best Beginnings, LIEAP, Energy Share, WIC, Section 8 Housing, and more.
What is a Navigator?
A Navigator is someone who serves as a guide to get you where you need to go. At the Red Lodge Area Community Foundation, we understand that applications for support programs and services can be cumbersome and confusing. Dedicated and trained volunteers have joined the team to be your Navigator to complete these applications. A Navigator’s job is to provide individuals and families with the information necessary to determine what available aid options best fit your needs, and to help you apply to those programs. We want to be the guide to the programs that will make your life easier.
Navigators will help you get information and apply for, any sort of aid program you may be interested in. Some examples of these programs are Medicaid, TANF (Temporary Cash Assistance for Families), SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), LIEAP (Low-Income Energy Assistance & Weatherization Program), Energy Share, HMK (Healthy Montana Kids), Best Beginnings, and Section 8 Housing.
Unsure of what you may be eligible for? Unsure if there are even programs in place to help you in a specific situation? We’ll help you figure that out too. Call us at the Red Lodge Area Community Foundation at (406) 425-0908 today to connect to a Navigator.
