Our mission is to promote, develop and maintain trails for non-motorized recreation and transportation activities in and near Red Lodge, Carbon County, Montana, for the purpose of improving the quality of life and health of both residents and visitors.
We are fundraising to support the continued operations of the Red Lodge Nordic Center and West Fork Road for cross-country skiing, and the maintenance and development of non-motorized trails in and around Red Lodge.
BRTA impacts thousands of people annually through sponsored events and programs such as the Kids Ski Program, the Backcountry Film Festival, and the Ski and Gear Swap, by the operation of the Nordic Center, and by the maintenance and construction of nonmotorized trails.
BRTA volunteers, trail users, and donors provide feedback through surveys, confirming if the mission of the organization is being fulfilled.
Last year, funds raised through the Fun Run were used for Nordic ski operations and construction of trails in Coal Miners Park and on the West Bench above Beartooth Billings Hospital.
Fundraising Goal: $8,000
