Red Lodge Ice actively fundraises to support long‑term improvements to the community rink in Lions Park. A primary focus of these efforts is the potential installation of a refrigerated ice system, which would allow the skating season to be more predictable, consistent, and significantly longer.
What impact will funds have on your mission and community?
Funds raised for Red Lodge Ice will directly support long‑term improvements to the Lions Park rink, including the potential installation of a refrigerated ice system that will dramatically extend the skating season, ensure consistent and safe ice quality, and expand opportunities for youth programs, adult leagues, and community events. These investments will create a more reliable and inclusive winter recreation hub, while the new concrete slab will also provide a multi‑use surface for summer activities
If you participated last year, what did you use the funds for?
Last year, funds raised for Red Lodge Ice helped purchase a new plastic liner for the rink and supported essential upkeep of our equipment, ensuring we could continue providing safe, reliable skating opportunities for the community
