Imagine what Red Lodge would be without the Roosevelt Center. Think of all the plays, performances, affordable spaces for artists and new businesses that would not have a platform or simply would not exist. Arts and culture are the heart and soul of this community.

The Roosevelt Center provides artists with affordable space to create, a satellite gallery to display their artwork, and a platform to perform. There is much work to be done at the Center in order for it to become the cultural center envisioned by our community. To expedite and coordinate the work that is involved the Center needs a dedicated program director to manage and keep things running smoothly.

Think for a minute about what social isolation feels like and what it is. Living alone, not having many visitors, eating meals alone and having limited ability to leave your home for social interaction.
For many elderly neighbors living in alone and in social isolation small gestures brighten their day and ease their loneliness. We have partnered with 5th grade teachers at Mountainview Elementary school to provide isolated seniors with a 5th grade penpal. Caring Cards teaches students empathy for others, letter writing skills and the value of
intergenerational friendships.
Your donation can help this program continue and grow. Our goal is to expand Caring Cards to other school districts in Carbon County and increase outreach. Now through December 31st we have a $20,000 match challenge. Each dollar you donate will be matched dollar for dollar! This doubles your impact!

Our public school administrators came to us asking to help address a troubling trend, the number of at risk students had increased from 12-30%. Even the most engaged students were reporting increased levels of stress and anxiety.
We met with teachers and administrators and addressed the school needs by creating a mindfulness space curriculum for grades k-12. The pilot program launched this fall in the high school and has been a success. The program equips students and teachers with strategies to reduce stress and anxiety, foster a resilient mindset and tools to build leadership skills in students and teachers.
