The Fun Run is an Annual Event for Charitable Organizations in the Carbon County Area.

$2,350,510 for 60 plus local charities

This community-wide fundraising event that benefits charitable causes in Carbon County. The Fun Run includes a 10K and 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate and dogs on leashes are welcome.There is a Toddler Trot, music, free BBQ burgers, and much more!

Event Details



LOCATION: Historic Downtown Red Lodge, Lion’s Park (View route map)

DATE: Saturday, September 1st

TIME: Race starts at 9:00 AM. (Day of registration is 7 AM-8:30 AM)

COST: Registration is free until day of event. Kids under 6 are always free!

WHO: All ages are invited to participate and dogs on leashes are welcome!

PRIZES: Prizes are given out to the top winners in each age category. 10K and 5K races are chip timed.

ACTIVITIES: After the race enjoy free BBQ burgers, Nonprofit booth activities, and fun for all ages!

REGISTER: Registration Opens May 24th and will be available online, by mail, or in person.

DONATE: Donations can be made for participating charities, to the sponsorship fund, or the Sally Martin Match Fund. This helps the charities get more bang for your buck.
