Mission: The mission of the Southern Montana Climbers Coalition is to preserve the integrity of Southern Montana climbing, while providing responsible access and resources to empower the climbing community.
What are you fundraising for this year?
SMCC is jumping into it’s second year of serving the community by fundraising for community projects and education opportunities such as gear replacement, a local guidebook, and a community fitness space.
What impact will funds have on your mission and community?
Funds will help us move forward projects that will educate and uplift not only the climbing community, but also the community at large. We plan to focus on providing safety and kids programs once we establish a space.
If you participated last year, what did you use the funds for?
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our donors last year. Funds helped us continue our daily operations. In addition. we were able to build release a new grant program for those that have lost loved ones while recreating in the mountains.
