Dedication Ceremony for the 2022 Owner Built Housing Program
On July 21, 2022, we celebrated the Dedication of the 2021–2022 Owner Built Housing Program. We shared this celebration with representatives from our partners Helena Habitat for Humanity, Trust Montana, USDA Rural Development, The O.P., and W.E. Edwards Foundation, Red Lodge Area Community Foundation, Beartooth Electric Cooperative, Inc and many community members to talk about their essential roles in the project and how powerful this is for families in our community and surrounding areas. Our Owner Built Housing families not only put physical labor into the homes but also must complete financial literacy courses and successfully maintain stability throughout the home build and after that. What a beautiful and powerful program to be a part of with the help of all our Partners and volunteers. May we continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
