Mission: The mission of the Cub Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

What are you fundraising for this year?

The funds raised will support 13 kids going to summer camp. Over the last year the scouts rock climbed, camped, learned knots, met the mayor and learned about our community, raced derby cars, played sports and games, performed campfire skits, learned US flag history, and performed flag ceremonies, and so much more. Funding makes our adventures bigger and more engaging.

What impact will funds have on your mission and community?

Scouting promotes Leave No Trace in the outdoors and promotes community service. When the scouts go out, we leave the community and forest cleaner than we found it. Funds help us get out there more.

If you participated last year, what did you use the funds for?

Last year was our first year participating in the Fun Run. The funds supported the summer camp adventures of 13 kids. These funds can help cover the costs of uniforms, patches, pinewood derby cars, outings, and overnights in the forest.

Fundraising Goal: $2,00
