Mission: Red Lodge Bike Center provides a community space for bike repair and events. Experienced volunteers help guide self-repair, reuse bikes/parts, and mechanics are for hire. We provide local events and bike repair clinics.
What are you fundraising for this year?
This year, funds will be used for training. Both to send our volunteer mechanics to specialized clinics, as well as the supplies to host community training. Funds will also be used to purchase additional tools and equipment for the bike center.
What impact will funds have on your mission and community?
Before our inception, the community was severely lacking bike repair services. We have a diverse and active bike community that was being forced to seek repair services in Billings or Cody. The funds that support the Bike Center are paramount to keeping our community on two wheels and building self-reliant repair skills for all ages and abilities.
If you participated last year, what did you use the funds for?
We used funds to purchase tools for the bike shop!
