Missoula Children’s Theater

Join us from February 2-8 in 2026 for another round auditions, rehearsals and play performances with Missoula Children’s Theater at the Roosevelt Center. Kids in grades K-12 are welcome to participate in in this program made FREE thanks to the support of David and Cheryl Whitcomb.

In 2025, 47 Carbon County kids did a wonderful job putting on Alice in Wonderland with Missoula Children’s Theater. Thank to everyone who came out to participate, parents and our great audience!

Thank you to our sponsors Dennis & Phyllis Washington Foundation, David & Cheryl Whitcomb, Pat Thomson & Gary Allison and our AMAZING VOLUNTEERS!

MT Shakes!

The Roosevelt Center brings in the incredible cast from Montana Shakespeare in the Parks to Red Lodge to give free performances and workshops to Carbon County students.

Admins and teachers bus their students to the Roosevelt Center and they are treated to the delight of a live theater performance.

In March, we hosted several schools, about 300 kids, for Montana Shakes.
