Please join us for an important Carbon County Nonprofit Lunch and Learn to discuss local impacts regarding changes in government funding streams.

When: May 8th from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Where: Roosevelt Center Auditorium

If you cannot make it in person, an online option will be available.

The discussion will center on Federal Executive Orders and their impacts on the local nonprofit sector, review key points of the most recent announcements of federal and any state changes, and create an inventory of local impacts. Please consider sharing specific examples of how your organization is impacted in the following ways:

  1. Direct impacts on your nonprofit mission
  2. Current capacity of your nonprofit to meet the needs of the population you serve
  3. Any effects and impacts on community events or products
  4. Any economic impacts, including job loss
  5. and other pressing matters.

We will clarify impacts to the community, what losses have occurred, or may occur, understand potential future challenges, and take steps to protect the community assets that people rely on across Carbon County.

We will utilize the shared information to create a comprehensive inventory and a shared statement that can be communicated to our community, donors, and when appropriate, our legislators and state leaders.

We hope you’ll be able to participate during this important time for our Community. Please RSVP below if you can attend. A light sandwich lunch will be served.
