“Our mission is to promote and grow the sport of pickleball in our community for residents and visitors. We work to expand and improve the pickleball facilities available in Red Lodge to encourage participation and fun for all ages and skill levels.”
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America; growing at a rate of 50% per year over the last three years. In 2025 we realized the court facilities in Red Lodge are inadequate to support such growth. We fundraised to renovate the existing courts in Field School Park. One of the major goals was to re-do the surface of the courts. This maitenance had not been done in over 12 years resulting in a deteriorating playing surface.
Field School Park completed in 2025:
- Professionally resurfaced the three existing courts.
- Reconfigured the court area to accommodate two tennis courts and four dedicated pickleball courts.
- Provided permanent nets for pickleball and new nets and hardware for the tennis courts.
- Painted the courts in a three-color combination.
- Added wind screens to improve the playing conditions.
While our main renovation fundraiser has been completed, donations to Red Lodge Pickleball will help us continue maintaining the courts and keeping them in good condition to play. We thank you for helping us ensure we can share the sport of pickleball with everyone.
