Rotary Club of Red Lodge has received a $1,500 grant from the Rotary International Foundation to help residents of Red Lodge who have been impacted by COVID-19 with their water bills. We understand that water is an essential part of life especially when following guidelines to wash our hands frequently to help prevent the spread of the virus. Rotary International has worked for decades to ensure people around the world have access to clean water.

Red Lodge Rotary accepted applications for assistance and in our first round, we awarded $750 to people who have had difficulty paying their water bills due to COVID-19. One person we helped has had serious medical issues that required isolation during the pandemic, and is unable to work. Others have fallen behind because they have not been able to work, their income has fallen, or their expenses have increased.

Red Lodge Rotary is still accepting applications for assistance. Applications are available at Red Lodge City Hall, by e-mailing redlodgerotaryclub@gmail.com or by calling 406-425-8922. Anyone who is struggling during these difficult times is invited to apply. Rotary unites problem-solvers around the globe behind one goal: to do more good. Our members are driven to bring communities together to create lasting change. Connecting to make things better — that’s what people of action do. Learn more at rotary.org /action.
