Red Lodge Hosts 2017 Fun Run 14 Supporting Local Charities – “Giving for Good”

Red Lodge is extremely fortunate to have a number of nonprofit, volunteer organizations that make a significant and positive impact in our community. These 56 worthy organizations depend in large part upon donations made through the Annual Fun Run for Charities. This article describes those nonprofits that are committed to bringing skills, resources and visionary goals to the youth in our community.

Connected Youth. These organizations create a wholesome environment for our youth and empower them to realize their fullest potential. Beta Sigma Phi is a social, cultural and educational organization helping women enrich their lives. Fundraising helps further graduating senior girls’ education with its scholarships. Boys and Girls Club of Carbon County inspires young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Early Childhood Development Fund provides funds for educational, developmental and supportive services for children ages 0-8, including childcare, preschool, caregiver education and other developmental enhancement opportunities. Hope Ranch of Montana provides at-risk youth in our community with the chance to experience Montana’s great outdoors at no cost. Luther School PTA works with parents, teachers and staff to organize, enrich and sponsor Luther School programs for students and to build the Luther School community. Red Lodge High School InterAct Club strives to promote volunteer work and community involvement among the youth of Red Lodge. Red Lodge Public Schools Foundation supports and enhances educational opportunities in the Red Lodge Public Schools. Funds support teachers in grades K-12 and provide scholarships for post-secondary education. Youth Enrichment Fund provides financial support for youth wanting to participate in activities that they could not otherwise afford.
