A Navigator, by definition, is someone who serves as a guide to get you where you need to go. At the Red Lodge Area Community Foundation, we understand that applications for support programs and services can be cumbersome and confusing. Dedicated and trained volunteers have joined the team to be your Navigator to complete these applications. A Navigator’s job is to provide individuals and families with the information necessary to determine what available aid options best fit your needs, and to help you apply to those programs. We want to be the guide to the programs that will make your life easier.
Navigators will help you get information and apply for, any sort of aid program you may be interested in. Some examples of these programs are Medicaid, TANF (Temporary Cash Assistance for Families), SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), LIEAP (Low-Income Energy Assistance & Weatherization Program), Energy Share, HMK (Healthy Montana Kids), Best Beginnings, and Section 8 Housing.
