Get to Know the Kids Corner
In the heart of downtown Red Lodge, Kids Corner has been supporting the youth of Carbon County for more than seven years. The volunteer-run store, located at 18 N. Broadway sells gently used and new children’s clothing, toys, books and other necessities. Through their granting program, all the proceeds from the store support youth throughout the area. To date, the store has given more than $100,000 to schools and various local youth organizations. The good work Kids Corner does is made possible through the generous donations from local parents who help keep the store stocked with great deals as well as all the shoppers who frequent the store.
The Foundation is the Fiscal Sponsor of the Kids Corner. A Fiscal Sponsor provides an umbrella for grass roots charitable efforts to operate under the Foundation’s 501c3. This allows them to focus on their mission and
maintaining the store as opposed to dealing with the administrative paperwork, processing donations, and filing forms. The Foundation currently fiscally sponsors 13 charities making impacts in a variety of ways such as supporting youth, facilitating community conversations, making our outdoors even better, and sharing food education and resources.
