Red Lodge Hosts 2018 Fun Run 15 Supporting Local Charities – “Giving for Good”

Red Lodge is extremely fortunate to have a number of nonprofit, volunteer organizations that make a significant and positive impact in our community. These 61 worthy organizations depend in large part upon donations made through the Annual Fun Run for Charities. This article describes those nonprofits that improve our physical and mental health, build self-esteem and cultivate both team and individual skills.

Get Active: Being active builds healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Red Lodge Ice provides outdoor winter family entertainment for residents and visitors to Carbon County through a safe, fun, and always improving ice rink. Red Lodge Special Olympians provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Red Lodge XC Foundation provides an organization for coaching and education for for cross country skiers who want to compete, whether locally to build skills and fitness, or at a national level with year-round coaching. Silver Run Ski Education Foundation provides financial aid for youth interested in a quality, team-based skiing experience.
