Purpose for Raising funds for 2017
Funding a Farm to Fork education position and It’s in the Bag weekend food program in the K-8 Red Lodge School System.
Impact on Number of People Served
Our program impacts K-8 Red Lodge students by giving them a foundation for nutritious healthy food, through education, hands-on learning in the classroom and through the youth garden. The weekend backpack food program provided over 4000 meals to 40+ students who signed up to receive a bag containing 6 nutritious meals each Friday.
Our fundraising goal is $5000 – $2500 for funding the education program and $2500 for the It’s in the Bag program.
