A group of concerned citizens advocating responsible use of resources and finding solutions to problems that affect our unique quality of life.

This year, Carbon County Resource Council is fundraising for our work to get a community composting system in Red Lodge, promote soil health and local foods, and expand access to clean energy.

The funds will help CCRC gather and disseminate accurate information to educate the public, and mobilizes citizens to take action on issues of concern and actively participate in the public process.

Last years funds were used to send Carbon County Resource Council members to training’s to further their skills as community organizers, was used to educate the public about the Custer Gallatin Forest Plan revision process, and went towards promoting local foods in carbon county and throughout Montana by financially supporting the Montana Local Food Challenge.

Fundraising Goal: $2,000
